Ultrasonic sensors have various applications, such as Robotic, Automobile, Agriculture, Petroleum, Metallurgy, Medicine, and even in food industry. In every materialistic condition which sound waves can move,we can use ultrasonic sensors, therefore they can be a lot of applications for it.
In medical application although it has rival technologies such as X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging, but it has desirable features such as Doppler motion study which other technologies can’t provide.
In addition, among the various modern techniques for the imaging of internal organs, ultrasonic devices are by far the least expensive. Ultrasound is also used for treating joint pains and for treating certain types of tumors for which it is desirable to produce localized heating.
